MATERIALS USED

My camera is a Nikon D800E The print you will receive is a museum grade, fine art pigment ink print. HEY... JUST WHAT IS A FINE ART PIGMENT INK PRINT..?? Fine art prints are printed from digital files using archival quality inks on acid free fine art paper. ... It is the acid content in many papers that makes them turn yellow, brittle & crack over time. The paper used for your fine art print, is made with 100% cotton fibres, this ensures that your print will look good for many years. The printers used for fine art printing usually have 8 or 12 ink colourants and therefore have a very large colour gamut. These colours when mixed together are able to produce millions of different colours. This makes for a richness and depth of colour, not achievable in a normal large format printer. SIZES If you love this style but the size doesn't suit, I'm happy to create a similar piece in the required size. SHIPPING As I do not keep my prints in stock your print will be printed when your order arrives, therefore shipping will be slightly longer, please allow 10 to 14 days for your print to arrive..

DESCRIPTION

As the sunsets over the Kaikoura mountain range, the last lights often refract and give the mountains a glow and shadowy look. When I visit my hometown I often photograph this phenomena.
In this image the original light is a pastel orange, I have converted the image to a black and white with a blue hue. I have also highlighted the dark and light areas.
I have included another shot of this image captured in portrait mode. Both can be printed depending on your spaces.
