Artist Bio
Morita Ward was born in Kalgoorlie in 1980. Her great-grandmother is Carol Maanyata Golding. Morita spent her childhood Tjukurla Community. She completed her schooling in Adelaide through the Wiltja Program at Woodville High School. Upon completing high school she returned to Tjukurla. She low lives in Wanarn with her extended family and two young children. Morita began painting with Warakurna Artists in 2006. She moved back to Tjukurla in 2018 as a promising young artist.
