I’m a Landscape Architect and Arboricultural Consultant by profession, making the world beautiful by creating spaces for people to enjoy. I love designing spaces that have the edges of the built form blended with nature, inviting people in. I had an interesting and adventure-filled childhood, growing up in Swaziland, England and New Zealand and now living in Sydney. I found my passion for the outdoors and art whilst living in NZ. My style is influenced by contrasting colours and textures found in nature, blended together into abstract surrealism. My subject matter is floral, nature, landscapes, seascapes and abstract art, working on canvas. I am inspired by rolling landscapes, sunsets, the crisp line of the horizon with the clashing colours bouncing off the surrounding surfaces and contrasting forms of grasses and silhouettes cutting through. I create and work in mixed media/ acrylic paint and oils, blending and forming them, I love seeing how they try and compete and fight to be mixed.
