A World Held in Blue imagines the earth from above — a landscape shaped through washes of water and shifting pigment. Pigment is carried, blurred, and reshaped by the water it sits in, creating forms that feel both accidental and intentional, building an abstract impression of terrain.

Aashna is an abstract artist based in Melbourne exploring two parallel visual worlds. Her work is rooted in quiet attention and close observation of the natural world — the movement of water, the stillness of trees, the warmth of the sun — all explored and realised in acrylic and pen. Through her practice, she seeks to capture a sense of connection — an invitation to slow down, to notice, and to return to a place of calm.
