After Light emerges from a long-standing ritual of chasing sunsets. Across cities and travels, the sky’s shift into evening has offered a moment of colour, openness, and gentle pause. As the sun lowers and night begins, a different world unfolds — a reminder of how light shifts feeling, and how everything changes. Over the years, countless sunsets have been photographed, each one marking the way light softens, moves, and reshapes the world.

Aashna is an abstract artist based in Melbourne exploring two parallel visual worlds. Her work is rooted in quiet attention and close observation of the natural world — the movement of water, the stillness of trees, the warmth of the sun — all explored and realised in acrylic and pen. Through her practice, she seeks to capture a sense of connection — an invitation to slow down, to notice, and to return to a place of calm.
While her abstract water series is an emotional landscape, her pen work is a meditative practice.
