Artwork Description

Corn – Melbourne City 🌽🇦🇺

This original artwork was created in Melbourne as part of my ongoing Art with the People collaboration project.

For this painting, I brought the subject of farming and agriculture into the heart of Melbourne city. I invited people to become part of the artwork, adding their own marks and creativity to the painting.

Corn represents farming, food, hard work and the connection between people and the land. Growing up around farming, I have always had a strong connection with farmers and the work they do to feed communities.

This painting brings two different worlds together — the energy of Melbourne city and the quiet strength of farming.

Every person who participated became part of the artwork and left behind a small piece of their creativity, turning the painting into a shared memory of Melbourne.

One painting. Many people. One story. 🌽

‎‏Collaborated with the people of Melbourne to create this pieces

‎‏All languages , nationalities and opinions opportunities to became a part of this creation without of rules , regulations or exception .

People often ask me where I get the inspiration for my work. Funnily enough, they are my inspiration! Street art is more than a job for me — it’s the love of my life. My paintings are my family.

About 5 years ago I started inviting people to participate in the making of my artwork by adding a message from themselves to the canvas.

Over the years I’ve heard many say that picking up that brush healed them a little. It awakened something lost inside them.

And you know what?

Hearing that heals me a little. Every time.
