Artwork Description

This handcrafted skateboard features a vibrant acrylic painting, brought to life beneath a crystal-clear coat of epoxy resin that gives the surface a sleek, glossy finish, like sunlight dancing on water. The artwork captures an elevated view of the Bondi Icebergs swimming pool, one of Australia's most iconic coastal landmarks.

In the foreground, the ice-blue saltwater pool takes centre stage, where swimmers glide through the lanes, their movements rippling through the water. The white rock ledges surrounding the pool are dotted with people sunbathing, relaxing, and soaking in the sun. Along the walkway, small figures stroll by, taking in the dramatic meeting of architecture and ocean.

Above the pool, the Icebergs deck is alive with energy — people lounging on deck chairs, chatting, and sipping drinks in the open sun. Every detail is carefully painted: the subtle shadows cast by the railing, the contrast between white concrete and cobalt sea, the texture of the swimmers' splashes.

In the background, the vast Pacific Ocean stretches out, painted in layers of turquoise and deep blue, its waves crashing gently against the rocky shoreline. The result is a dynamic and immersive view — a perfect summer day frozen in motion.

This skateboard blends art and coastal culture, transforming a functional deck into a detailed snapshot of life at Bondi. Whether you're a rider or an art lover, it's a striking celebration of Sydney’s surfside spirit
