Artwork Description

This unique, one-of-a-kind artwork captures the essence of a Sydney summer, painted directly onto a surfboard — a fitting tribute to the laid-back, ocean-loving spirit of Bondi Beach. Featuring the iconic Icebergs swimming pool in the foreground and the sweeping curve of Bondi in the background, the painting instantly transports you to sun-drenched days by the sea.

Created using vibrant acrylic paints, the piece bursts with colour and energy. It’s finished with a glossy epoxy resin that not only protects the surface but adds a beautiful shine, mimicking the sparkle of sunlight on water.

What makes this piece truly special is its choice of canvas. By painting directly onto a surfboard, the artist merges form and subject — celebrating surf culture while reimagining the beach landscape in a bold, creative way. It's more than a painting; it’s a sculptural homage to the coast.

"Bondi Reflections" is a vibrant and joyful work — a visual love letter to Bondi in summer, full of movement, colour, and coastal charm.
