Artwork Description

A game for one,
A game on the run,
A game for fun.
Fun for one,
Fun for all.
CE-Triple 0
A game for the whole family.
Play it while frustrated at the way of the world
Play it while stressed at the cost of living.
Play it after sitting on hold for an hour…
And getting cut off,
And told to resubmit online
To a website that won’t load.
Play it after being denied a claim.
Play it after being fired cos’ your job has been off-shored…by an AI bot.
A game that’s a tonne of fun,
where you get to rattle the ladder
And watch as the high-climbers
And corporate-flyers
Fall like bags of taters
Off a gravy train.
It’s the future.
The year, 2025.
The place, Spreetown.
Times are dark.
The world, an overpopulated concrete plantation
of exploited slaves,
A teeming unwashed mass ruled over by dozens of corporate syndicates.
Bedfellows with selected officials.
Gangsters in fancy suits,
Driving fancy cars
Drinking coffee with fancy names between
meetings with Corporate Reps.
Corporate pushers. Eel-like creatures.
Bottom feeders.
Profits licked off the backs of the poor.
Nobody sees a difference anymore.
Corporations. Governments. A single entity,
United in marriage.
Hope. Its down down down. No, it’s gone.
The thirst for vengeance is up up and up.
Poverty abounds in this rich eat poor world.
Yet there is one chance.
One glimmer of hope.
Enter the wild-card.
Johnny Jager, our hero on a mission
With the bloodlust of cobalt fission.
His goal? To take out the trash, clipping Titans of Corporate Crime left right and centre as hard and fast as he can. Pharma bosses. Tech bosses. Property developers. Bankers. Politicians. Smart-Grid Entrepreneurs.
But still, he’s got to get away, Get out of Dodge fast before the cops, already hot on his trail, put him in a pine box six feet under.
For they, the law enforcement of Spreetown
are gatekeepers of the Masters,
keeping uptown and downtown apart.
Paid killers in blue
A lead fence against hungry wolves baying for blood.
But like anything, there are exceptions.
There is our Johnny.
He has his grudge.
And he has his list.
And you betcha, he’s pissed.
And tonight he's lurking the streets.
Tonight he'll crawl.
In the gutters,
In the shrubs
Wait 'til late behind the pub
In the alleys.
In the park.
That lone figure sitting at a table.
The bigger they are,
The harder they drop.
Do they know what hit 'em?
Probably not.
A name leaves the building. It's late.
Johnny stalks like a tiger.
He draws, he fires.
Another black-heart falls,
Like a fish out of water he wriggles,
Then stops.
Johnny smiles.
1000 bonus points and the night's still young.
Now time to run he cannot stop
The cops are on their way.
Ride, run, fly or float.
Steal yourself a taxi, hijack a boat.
You are in the drivers seat.
You choose Johnny's next Metropolitan adventure
Be that joystick hero as Johnny racks up those HitPoints across Spreetown.

All life is pain.
The beginning. The end. Most in-between..
Anyone who says differently is selling something.
