#12 of 22. Dream Rendering. Far away I hear the faint sound of music. I wander along the road, eventually arriving at a large crumbling mansion. It is set back from the road with the bottom level open. As I get closer the music gets louder. It is a cello I hear playing. I walk up towards the open brickwork and gaze in. There is no floor in the giant open room, only dirt and rubble from the broken bricks. Someone must be in there playing. It isn't so. Leaning in over the giant slabs of stone I see it, a cello suspended in the air in the back corner, the bow sliding back and forth across the strings as if being played by some mastered invisible hand. Fear hits me as I try to run but can't. Instead I buckle at the knees, collapsing on the stone as that ominous wood instrument floats down from the corner towards me, playing as it goes getting louder, and louder, and louder.
