After a long stint overseas, I returned home and fell in love with the Australian flora and fauna all over again. The bluest of blue skies and deep red of the earth produces the most unique and stunning colour combinations in nature, that I simply felt compelled to paint. My collection will show that I currently have an obsession with natives but also daisies and succulents, popular plants from the great Brisbane Backyard!
Classes with the Brisbane Institute of Art ignited a passion for painting, and a new community of inspiring creatives to share this journey with.
I am now found, most days, in my little garden studio, paintbrush in hand recreating my own version of those little floral gems.
