3 Lemons

Inspired by my love for lemons and the warm colours of sunsets. I wanted to allow the colour, light and organic shapes to become the focus. The three lemons create a sense of balance and togetherness, while their imperfect forms bring a feeling of natural, relaxed beauty.

The soft, warm palette is designed to bring a gentle lift to a room without overwhelming it. It adds a touch of Mediterranean warmth and optimism, working beautifully in a kitchen, dining space, living room or anywhere that could use a little more sunshine.

Created with modelling paste, charcoal, acrylic and oil paint on canvas, the artwork combines soft, layered colour with expressive brushwork to capture the natural texture, light and character of the lemons. The warm, muted palette gives the piece a contemporary feel while retaining the timeless charm of a still life.

The finished work is designed to feel fresh, relaxed and uplifting, a small celebration of colour, simplicity and the beauty found in everyday moments.

Adriana grew up surrounded by talented creatives, her grandfather and father were painter/decorators restoring the beautiful churches in Puglia, Italy. Her grandmother, a seamstress, making stunning coats/dresses in an afternoon and her mother is a stylist and the most amazing cook.

Adriana’s inspiration comes from everywhere, but mostly people, photography, fashion, family, architecture and culture. Her art explores colour, negative space and also monochrome, it includes figurative, portraiture and abstract. The materials she uses varies between, acrylics, inks, oils, charcoal, graphite and pastels on paper/canvas.
