Artwork Description

This painting is a striking and expressive composition filled with symbolism, movement, and raw emotion. The bold use of colour, particularly warm reds, oranges, and yellows, evokes passion, sensuality, and intensity. The female figure, with exaggerated and intertwined limbs, appears to be in a state of transformation or chaotic ecstasy, embodying themes of feminine power, identity, freedom and complexities of modern womanhood. The presence of wings hints at a longing for liberation.
The brushstrokes are fluid and expressive, creating a dreamlike or surreal atmosphere. There is an interplay between strength and vulnerability, with the figure appearing both grounded and ethereal. The composition invites deep personal interpretation, encouraging the viewer to explore themes of femininity, empowerment, and the complexities of existence.

Artist Bio

Agnes Kruze– Capturing the Vibe.

Agnes is a creative explorer, using art and photography as a channel for raw expression and storytelling. Specialising in capturing the vibe, her work is deeply inspired by nature, inner emotions, and the energy of the world around her.

Refusing to be confined to a single style, she experiments with different techniques, letting intuition and spontaneity guide the process. Her art is an invitation—to feel, reflect, and see the world in new ways. Because, in the end, every brushstroke holds the power to tell a story and inspire.

From an early age, she filled every available surface with doodles, escaping into imaginary adventures. This passion led Agnes to study fine arts at two institutions, including the Latvian Academy of Arts, where she earned a Bachelor's degree. But the feeling of not being a "real artist" lingered, and a long career in graphic design followed.

That changed during the pandemic when Agnes returned to painting—just for the joy of it. To her surprise, people resonated with her work. Alongside painting, she became a Transpersonal Art Therapist, further exploring the transformative power of creativity.
