I was born in Sarawak, Malaysia and, while I studied art at school and loved it, a career in art just wasn't possible. While my love of painting hasn't ever left me, most of my life has been working in jobs to pay the bills – hospitality, cleaning, gardening.
I've reached a point in my life where I've realised I have to follow where my heart leads. So I've finally returned to painting, to my first love, bringing with me a life of experience and images I can't wait to put to canvas. I paint places I've been, things I've seen and people I've known.
