My name is Aiga, and I am delighted you are viewing my artwork and reading my profile.
My inspiration behind my artworks is inspired by my many years as a fabric engineering. A posh way of meaning I am a dressmaker. As I create the entire garment from scratch, such as, pattern making, cutting, sewing, and focusing on the fine detail for that perfect fit.
I am also greatly inspired by shapes and the beautiful colours of materials, textiles and styles of the 60s and 70s vintage era, and I enjoy creating my very own fabrics.
Therefore, the artworks that I create are deeply influenced from my daily surrounds in my sewing studio and the passion I have for visual art practices.
