Hello! I’m Aimee, the creative force behind Little Firefly Artworks. Art has always been a profound passion for me, and I love to experiment with various mediums and subjects. At present, I find myself particularly captivated by coloured pencils and birds.
I embrace challenges and genuinely enjoy the process of learning and discovery in my artistic journey. I've been creating art for as long as I can remember, initially thinking it would remain a hobby. However, with the encouragement of close friends and my husband, who I often say believed in me more than I did, I've taken significant steps to pursue my passion and become a full-time artist and content creator—yes! I document all my artistic processes, and each piece you see here has its own YouTube series showcasing my creative journey.
Nature has always been my muse, inspiring me with the vibrant colours that bring life to landscapes and creatures, which is reflected in my works. Realism has always been my favourite style, and I am currently challenging myself to explore this further by blending elements from other artistic styles.
My current professional goal is to create a collection of artworks featuring native Australian birdlife for my first major exhibit at a local gallery. All the artwork images displayed here are available as prints. I am also open to commissions, so please feel free to reach out to me via my social media or through Bluethumb if you’re interested!
