Artwork Description

My Creamy Canals original painting was a BIG hit. It became obvious that a lot of other people also found the painting nostalgic and pleasing to the eye as it quite literally went viral online!

With that said I had to paint a Creamy 2.0 original. That is how the Creamy Beach Shacks was created. Another bright pop art and surreal piece inspired by the colours, tv shows, toys, and ice-creams of the 80s, 90s and 2000s.

However, the Creamy Beach Shacks takes on a very Australian summer beach twist. For many of us the beach represents a lot of things: holidays, trips with friends and family, a place to play, adventure, rest and rejuvenate. Personally, one of my favourite places as a kid and now as an adult.

Artist Bio

I have been a professional artist for over 10 years. The journey started as soon as I could hold a pencil and the rest is history...

Born and raised in Darwin NT and then moved to Perth where I studied and graduated from a Bachelor of Arts 2014 and then a Bachelor of Health Science 2018. From 2018-2021 I combined my art and health profession by facilitating one on one and group art therapy sessions. Since the end of 2021 I have been a full time artist.

I love experimenting with a range of art mediums but my go-to is acrylic paint on canvas. I also have a range of different styles, from real-life to surrealism. However, I consistently stick with a very bright and colourful palette.

I am currently painting a range of large scale murals across Western Australia and eager to venture across other regions of Australia to add more colour.
