Aussie beach Sunday Pink Afternoon

I live close to our magnificent Aussie Ocean and spend Sundays with family and friends.
I`ve tried to capture the colours,activity and fun of the beach on a Sunday by using an aerial view of items on the beach like colourful towels surfboards etc plus added some extra colour by adding PINK/Magenta as the sand colour (Hence Pink Afternoon)I
I think its produced a vibrant painting that will brighten up your living space and which represents our wonderful AUSSIE way of life!
I`ve used a modelling compound to give all the breaking waves a realistic 3D effect!

Hi :-),
I`ve been in the creative field for some years now, After studying for a B.Ed in Education,I spent some years teaching in the UK(Yorkshire),USA (California),Canada (Ontario)and finally my favourite country Australia...:-))

My main focus in the early days was in CARTOONING, selling to magazines and newspapers around the world.
Fellow artists say that this reflects in some of my artwork now, plus telling me my paintings tend to be in a `naive` style with an emphasis on bold ,vivid and bright colouring

I thoroughly enjoy days now creating, inventing ideas in my STUDIO with the occasional cartoon to boot.
