This work is from a series of en plein air drawings I produced in Toohey Forest Brisbane.
The work incorporates the trees, broken branches and boulders in the area in a pop art style of work.
Monochrome works were also produced. Some were reworked back in the studio. There are these clumps of broken branches gathered in piles next to the boulders and they created this abstract image stretching into the trees.
