Artwork Description

After spending a few weeks drawing en plein air in the forest creating studies for paintings I came up with the idea of a triptych. A lot of the actual drawings I loved as they were and wanted not to lose that feel.
I panned around from a few drawings to get this almost abstract feel to the area. I think it looks a lot like a beach scene with rocks from prehistoric times, though that was not the idea at all! The panels are primed beforehand with ripped canvas on the panels, an idea I had from a previous work.
I limited the colour to work in all 3 panels.
These are unframed original works
Ready to hang
