Vecinito I

All details on Vecinito II and III. This is the first initial painting of the three undertaken. He spent all his spare time on the phone home to Colombia and I wanted to capture that . The feeling was to capture the sense of being alone in another country whilst communicating to family back in the home country. This was a state of solitude during the pandemic.

Alan has worked with Ian Fleming Illustration Agency in the 80s gaining numerous commissions eg; Royal Shakespeare Company, 20th Century Fox and British Telecom .
In 1986 his portrait of Andrew Celli Actor was exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery London.
From 90s onwards he has worked in Scenic Painting ( eg; Michael Jackson Dangerous Tour) ,Specialist Mural Decoration ( Numerous London Residences) and Fine Art.
Mentoring Students since 1989 in various Colleges in UK. and now in Australia where he migrated in 2007.
