Artwork Description

A Finalist work in the Brisbane Portrait Award-Salon Des Refuses . Initially a single portrait of my neighbour Ivan turned into 3 paintings as I was looking for a looser feel which I failed .
As with the other 2 works ,they were produced in Acrylic on board building up in layers and glazes.
He seated himself differently in all 3 works., this being the 2nd piece. Initial drawings were done first as I think its an integral part of the process.
The painting was also a semi finalist in the Doug Moran Portrait Award this year.
