Artwork Description

Unconditional love portrays the beautiful love my friend has for her son. The photograph this portrait is painted from was taken between lockdowns in 2020. I was painting the impact Covid had on mothers. I procrastinated deeply about this painting as I began to see parts of myself in the portrait. This painting symbolises the beautiful and unconditional love all mothers have for their children and the resilience and sacrifices they make for them.
