Althuogh the sea has Alanah's heart and oceanscape paintings will continue to be released, July 2023 marks the start of the abstract series, showcasing movement and release in colour.
Alanah always loves the look of the oil paint when they are partially bleneded, before it starts looking like water and have wondered how this would appear as abstract peices and now I'm finally going there. You can expect earthy tones mixed with bursts of bright colour. The way Alanah uses light will continue as it does in the oceanscapes to ensure a light source and at times a percieved distance in the abstracted colour.
