My inspiration comes directly from nature. I seek to create paintings that catch the eye, that either pique my interest or move me emotionally.
Usually these are of things most transient in nature.
I have learned to stop asking why I do this. I already know why I do it: to capture fleeting beauty.
In those moments I don't have to ask why, I only have to pay attention.
