Alex has enjoyed painting and printmaking since childhood. His primary subject matter are landscapes and still life, and his style is centred on strong brushwork using complementary palettes to give a warm textured immersion into feeling and evocation of presence of those spaces we deem familiar but have forgotten how to see.
