Judas' Kiss

This artwork depicts the mental space that someone banishes another to when there has been a betrayal. It explores the grieving of the relationship and the chaos in one's mind in the aftermath.
The defined form is the person that is being grieved. The birds are taunting and swooping. They have banished this person to this place to torment and hurt them for satisfaction. However, it is only hurting themself because this is in their head.

I am but a humble novice. I've been painting and drawing since I was a child, exploring mediums, mostly acrylic, with momentary experimentation with watercolour, oil pastel, ink, clay and more. I usually like to cover big canvas and paper, opposed to smaller. But an occasional smaller work suffices as well. I want to create stories, invoke feeling, and above all do what I find fulfilling to my being.
