I draw inspiration from the beauty of nature and the limitless potential of discovering beauty in the ordinary of everyday.
My work focuses on familiar botanical subjects—orchids, leaves, and garden forms—reinterpreted through saturated colour and simplified shapes. I am interested in the tension between softness and intensity, often placing light, delicate forms against deep, warm grounds.
Working from a home studio, I build paintings in layers, allowing colour relationships to guide the final composition.
