Artwork Description

RHYTHM OF EMERGENCE

Artwork Series "MAGNOLIA" by Alexey Pushkarev

Rooted in rhythm, this linoprint captures the quiet force that flows beneath nature’s surface — a living pulse that binds growth, form, and transformation. Through the play of black and white, order and movement, the work echoes the exhibition’s essence: the vital beat that connects chaos with harmony, stillness with vibration.

Original limited LINOCUT print on paper (hand printmaking technique). The printing of the lino block is another art in itself; each print is unique and has a certain character.

These prints are hand-carved and printed,

My current focus is on creating linocut prints and drawings that combine bold designs with subtle details, aiming to evoke emotion and spark curiosity in those who view them.
For me, linocut is more than a technique—it’s a language of contrasts, textures, and stories waiting to be told. The rhythmic process of carving, inking, and pressing is a meditation in itself, an intimate dialogue between artist and medium. I am drawn to its raw, tactile nature, the way a simple block of linoleum transforms into something alive with meaning.
Every print is a reflection of patience and intent. From the first sketch to the final pull from the press, each step is deliberate, each detail infused with a personal touch. The beauty of handmade art lies in its imperfections—the subtle textures and organic marks that make every piece one of a kind.

Relief print is a RITUAL, a way of translating emotion into something tangible.
