Step #2 belongs to the limited linocut series “STEP”, which explores the idea of movement, progress, and transformation through abstract form, rhythm, and colour.

This work features a bold contrast of black and soft lavender tones, creating a sense of depth and vibration. The delicate touch of blue in the central form adds a spark of energy — a symbol of intuition and focus within the composition.

Each print in the series carries its own emotional colour language, revealing a different state of mind through hue and balance. The hand-carved linocut technique, enhanced with fine marker details, brings both structure and spontaneity — a dialogue between control and freedom.

The STEP series consists of four unique prints, each representing a moment in an evolving emotional journey.

My current focus is on creating linocut prints and drawings that combine bold designs with subtle details, aiming to evoke emotion and spark curiosity in those who view them.
For me, linocut is more than a technique—it’s a language of contrasts, textures, and stories waiting to be told. The rhythmic process of carving, inking, and pressing is a meditation in itself, an intimate dialogue between artist and medium. I am drawn to its raw, tactile nature, the way a simple block of linoleum transforms into something alive with meaning.
Every print is a reflection of patience and intent. From the first sketch to the final pull from the press, each step is deliberate, each detail infused with a personal touch. The beauty of handmade art lies in its imperfections—the subtle textures and organic marks that make every piece one of a kind.

Relief print is a RITUAL, a way of translating emotion into something tangible.
