Chunga is pure chaos—an acid-drenched explosion of neon colors,
melting shapes, and absurd doodles that make no sense at all. It’s a wild,
glitching dream where eyeballs float, patterns vibrate, and logic takes a
permanent vacation. Colors scream, textures clash, and hidden jokes
dissolve before you can get them. It’s messy, loud, and completely
unhinged—just the way it’s meant to be.

Alexis Rodriguez-Guglielmi, a neurodivergent abstract artist born in Washington in 1994 with Mexican roots, channels her vibrant heritage and personal journey into her art. Her love for vivid colors, abstract forms, and iconic skull imagery began in childhood, but it was life-altering experiences that truly defined her creative path.
At 22 Lexi faced profound challenges, surviving complex brain and spinal cord surgeries, followed by a devastating poisoning which led her into a comma. It was during this time that she reconnected with art as a form of healing. Painting became her sanctuary - a space to process emotions, rediscovery emotions, rediscover herself, and find hope. Her advice to her young self captures her approach to art; “Get a canvas, beat it with a stick, then paint something beautiful on it.”
