Artwork Description

A painting in the short Tempest series of works. taking inspiration from Mark Stopforth's cloud paintings i aimed to capture a stormcloud over the sea at sunrise, I absolutely love the salmon red of the sky it really grabs the attention of everyone as they enter a room.
The expressive aspect of painting a cloud really comes out as an emotional experience when contrasting aggressive and soft application of media.
