Artwork Description

A painting in the Tempest series of expressive work. living at the beach I experience a lot of storms over the ocean, the way the light at sunrise interacts with the clouds is a great source of inspiration for this work. recently I have been using these paintings as a way of channeling emotion and expression into my work. The expressive aspect of painting a cloud really comes out as an emotional experience when contrasting aggressive and soft application of media.
