Artwork Description

Resonant Field explores the intersection of algorithmic precision and organic form through generative linework. Created using Modulaser to script oscillating wave patterns and rendered via a pen plotter, the piece evokes a vibrating membrane or synthetic terrain—something between sound waves, fabric in motion, and topographical distortion.

Thousands of individual lines flow in unison, forming peaks, folds, and troughs that suggest movement, resonance, and spatial tension. The repetition and density of the lines produce a visual illusion of depth, giving a three-dimensional quality to a flat surface.

Influenced by the aesthetics of signal processing, procedural graphics, and digital fabrication, Resonant Field reflects on how code-driven systems can produce expressive, tactile results—blurring the line between machine and hand, structure and softness.

Artist Bio

As someone who inhabits a unique inter-sectional identity (queer, gay, refugee, immigrant, poc, multilingual, etc), I am fascinated in what makes us US.

What are the individual facets of our identity and how these are translated into the stories we tell.
You see, identity isn't a single thing, but rather all the little things that contribute to an individual self.
Who are your role models in life? Which socio-political ideologies do you live by?
Or something as simple as what is your favorite pizza topping?

My images explore these ideas through a uniquely clean and controlled approach to artistic practice.
I always aim to create simple, yet impactful, images.
