In the innocent child’s play a spark of curiosity gives birth to a new life. It blossoms into a springtime flower which then transforms into a phoenix in summer. As the bird takes flight, it begins to blaze, turning petals into autumn leaves. In the end, the bird fades, leaving a tail of snowflakes behind. Within the moment of the spark, all transitions unfold simultaneously. Embracing each phase with an open heart and beginner’s mind, the child comes to realize that it all unfolded within him, imparting the wisdom of impermanence of all things.
