My earliest and happiest memories are of drawing, painting and creating. Art has always been with me as a way of consoling and connecting with my inner self and expressing what I find.
Even though my studies and career went in a different direction I always keep a set of acrylics and a paintbrush close by.
My inspiration mostly comes from nature. Having lived and travelled across Europe I find my subjects are colourful landscapes, animals and flora specific to warmer, sunnier parts and climates. My preferred medium is acrylics. I am now again based in sunny Brisbane, Queensland. With plenty of sunshine and inspiration, combined with some extra time at home as a result of the pandemic, I find I am producing more paintings. For the first time I have decided to share my art with a wider public and I hope you enjoy it as I do.
