Printmaking is my preferred art form for several reasons. I am particularly drawn to lino printing because it presents the challenge of working with strong contrasts and a lack of tone. In this method, I work with simple lines to create bold textures, often by cutting out the negative space to form the design in black. Lino printing also presents challenges due to its unforgiving material, where any cuts made to the lino are visible and cannot be undone.

The physical process of printing the designs is done by hand, making each print unique and ensuring that no two are identical. Each design is a limited edition of only 30, signed and numbered by the artist on the front.

These prints are also individually hand-coloured. It is important to note that this is not a Giclee print from a computer.

It is printed on archival acid-free paper using oil-based ink.
