More early spring flowers from our cold climate garden on top of a mountain.

For this painting I worked using a larger brush to cut back on unnecessary detail and fully explore the fullness and colour of this amazing plant as it bursts into bloom

I chose a vintage blue glass jar to hold it and loved how the light blue jumped within reflections against the red of the flower.
