I have really enjoyed creating colourful reflections in this work and the patchwork of colour has been a nice change from my earlier more subdued works!

The gum branch is beautiful leaf filled elegance from our magnificent local Mountain Ash gum trees, the tallest flowering eucalyptus in the world. I am always in awe of the branches that fall from the lofty heights they reach, the colours in them are deep and beautiful and normally only the parrots fly high enough to see them up close.
