I’m Alina Khozhantayeva, a self-taught artist based in Astana, Kazakhstan. I’ve always been passionate about art, and my journey as an artist is deeply personal. My works are driven by a fascination with the human experience, emotions, and the bond between humans and nature. I explore these themes through bold, expressive brushstrokes, vibrant colors, and dynamic compositions.
I find inspiration in the world around me, often reflecting on how we interact with each other and the world we inhabit. Traveling has played a huge role in shaping my perspective as an artist, and it has expanded the boundaries of my creativity. I’ve visited numerous museums, such as the Louvre in Paris and the Hermitage in Saint Petersburg, where I encountered a rich array of artistic styles that further fueled my passion. I’m particularly inspired by Impressionism and the works of artists like Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso, and Rembrandt. Their ability to capture light, emotion, and movement resonates deeply with me and influences my own artistic expression.
As an artist, I strive to evoke emotion in my audience, whether through the warmth of a portrait or the intensity of abstract work. My aim is to encourage viewers to reflect on the world around them, challenge their perceptions, and connect with the emotions embedded in my pieces.
My art is a reflection of my personal journey, and I’m continuously evolving as I learn and grow, both as an artist and as an individual.
