For this painting I drew inspiration from the Australian native flora and earthy colours. I particularly loved painting the beautiful textural leaves and tried to capture their dancing gesture by focusing on tiny intricate details. This practice was incredibly healing for me and I hope that anyone who views this artwork feels the warmth and tranquility that I tried to convey.
