Artwork Description

River of Gold came about as Abstract colour play. I listened when my heart, chose the colours and began to play . I felt the river in a navy blue was my life twisting and turning with each new colour it comes out from the centre core unwinding and taking different journeys across the landscape. The Gold on the banks is for the blessings I feel when I go on my journeys into the world.

Artist Bio

“Art is after all the Dream of the Soul come to life”

Connecting People to Art via teaching, Commisions and Love.

I am a country girl at heart, living in the city. I am a Christian, artist, wife, mother of 6 who feels at home when exploring the heart of God and encouraging others to do the same.

Tough times, Domestic Violence, have inspired me to turn to the beauty of this world and share it with others via my Art.

I would describe my style as being Visionary, but I also love exploring other styles. Working on Abstract and Atmospheric and growing in my Visionary skills at this time together with traditional landscapes and Portrait..
What I enjoy most about creating artwork is the challenge of learning about myself, and others through experimentation of moving paint over the canvas and creating distinct colour, finding the shadows in nature which give light to the work is one of the greatest feelings ever.

Sometimes having no plan at all, but asking the canvas what to do and waiting for the next thought that comes to mind.
Creating a fabulous piece in collaboration with a client is one of the joys of Art.

One of My larger works is a Tree of Life which resides at the Hillbank Community Childrens Centre on an outside wall. The Children love finding all the little creatures on the Tree.

I have worked with Playford Primary School creating a Mural with the Aboriginal Liaison and a group of Parents. Also within the classroom with Year 6 and 7 students.
I Love teaching and have a several pupils at this time.
