Another of the captures from a particularly special trip to Adelaide for my birthday, where I spent a long and luxurious time delving into the beauty of all that the Botanical Gardens have to offer. This is one of the examples of their stunning Pacific botanics in bloom. I had seen and photographed this same plant in Fiji and was so excited to see it again here. For a long time I was not drawn to high colour subjects, but these bursts of colour and vibrancy are hard not to be intoxicated by!
