As with all my macro subjects, a different world opens up when seeing things through the close up lens. Here, the new shapes created by the line of focus, was at once joyous and unpredictable. A small crystal suddenly transforms into what could be a canyon. This almost interchangeable state always draws me in and reminds me that all of nature has its repeating complex patterns.
