Although I usually enjoy using natural light for my nature subjects, these were so unusual and hair-like, that I really wanted to control the light and backlight it.
I used a light table and flash in order to create high key lighting and saturate the surrounds with brightness. I love the highlighted glow it gave these fascinating little balls of fluff.
