The colour captured in this image was a delightful surprise, so rich and golden. I love the way something that is so near dead - and likely would be trodden on without a thought - becomes a vision of warmth and value. The macro lens provides a vision into a new world, where my perspective is invited to shift. I love accepting this invitation to see in a new way.
