Creature of The Deep

This piece looks different to everyone who sees it....to me it was a process of colours emerging from the dark, and in this case in doing so created what I see as a human/alien like figure from the deep, deep dark abyss of reality, emotion, hope and despair. It is a thought provoking, conversation piece that will be something your guests will be able to get lost in and see their version of my creature of the deep.

Allie is a Sydney based artist who works mainly with acrylics, mixed media collage and pencil sketches. She has a background in the veterinary industry as both a vet nurse and in business management. She has always had a love of arts and crafts and has attended art classes and workshops in a variety of mediums from a young age.
Allie was recently a victim of a psychological injury and has turned to her creative passion during this time to heal and recover. She has always turned to art throughout her life and career as a way to cope with any turmoil and express and connect with her inner emotions and explore her relationships. This is why her studio and business Brierley Hollow was born, a place where she can create pieces of art and crafts to share with you.
Some of her works will feature abstract or surreal patterns, people and forms and she will manipulate them to create pieces reflective of her relationships and emotional journey in her life.
She hopes that through her art you can find and discover your own emotions and relate them to the relationships in your life. Allie’s works bravely share with you her sometimes fragile self, juxtaposed with her elated moments as she journeys through life.
