Artwork Description

A joyful celebration of colour, movement and natural beauty, this expressive peacock commands the canvas with its magnificent sweeping plumage. Layers of turquoise, teal, cobalt and emerald dance against playful bursts of coral, blush pink, lavender and citrus, creating a wonderfully uplifting sense of energy.

Loose, gestural brushstrokes and flashes of white give the feathers a feeling of movement, while the peacock’s elegant form provides a calm focal point amid the abundance of colour. The result is both bold and whimsical—a contemporary interpretation of one of nature’s most spectacular creatures.

Symbolising beauty, confidence, renewal and self-expression, this piece is designed to bring colour, happiness and a little bit of flamboyance into a space.

Artist Bio

Born and raised in South Africa I developed a love for art as far back as I can remember. I now live and work as a full-time painter on the beautiful Sunshine Coast , Queensland. I feel extremely grateful to be creative every day .

Inspired by light, movement, surprising color combinations, and textures, my goal is to infuse these elements and form abstracted, impressionistic compositions. No matter the subject, I strive to portray a balance of realism combined with loose painterly abstraction, causing one to compliment the other.

I hope this compilation of artwork provides joy and inspiration and breathes colour to your life
