Artwork Description

A vibrant celebration of one of Noosa’s most loved coastal pockets, Tea Tree Bay captures that wonderful feeling of arriving at the bay through a tangle of pandanus and tropical foliage.

Loose, expressive brushstrokes sweep across the canvas in turquoise, deep ocean blues, fresh greens, soft blush pinks and flashes of sunshine yellow. The iconic pandanus trees frame the sparkling water and quiet curve of the beach, while little details of beach life invite you into the scene.

Artist Bio

Born and raised in South Africa I developed a love for art as far back as I can remember. I now live and work as a full-time painter on the beautiful Sunshine Coast , Queensland. I feel extremely grateful to be creative every day .

Inspired by light, movement, surprising color combinations, and textures, my goal is to infuse these elements and form abstracted, impressionistic compositions. No matter the subject, I strive to portray a balance of realism combined with loose painterly abstraction, causing one to compliment the other.

I hope this compilation of artwork provides joy and inspiration and breathes colour to your life

Amanda's unique work reflects the contemporary, casual and colour filled lifestyle of the picturesque Sunshine Coast, Queensland
