This painting is an opportunity to explore my love of portraiture and street art while pushing my art practice to encompass new mediums and mark-making techniques. This piece uses a range of mediums including acrylic, metallic bronze pigment, oil and gouache. This piece follows on from my love of pop artists such as Warhol and Lichtenstein, and street artists such as Banksy.
